Is your site compliant with the European accessibility law?

A free analysis of one page of your site, in seconds. The problems detected, what they stop your visitors from doing, and how to fix them.

Enter the address of one page to analyse, for example your homepage.

No card. No account.

The free analysis covers a single page: the one whose address you give.

In force since
28 June 2025
The deadline has passed. The obligation applies today.
Who controls
National authorities
In France, the DGCCRF with the sector regulators.

Article 30 of the directive requires penalties that are effective, proportionate and dissuasive, taking account of the extent of the non-compliance and the number of people affected. Amounts differ by country, so we quote none here.

How it works

  1. You give an address

One page of your site. No card, no account.

  2. We analyse the page

Ten automated checks on the most common WCAG 2.1 AA criteria.

  3. You read the result

Score, priority problems, real effects, fixes, and the limits of the method.

SamplePriority 1WCAG 2.1 AA criterion 4.1.2 — Name, role, value
Problem detected
The add-to-cart button has no label a screen reader can announce.
Real effect on your visitors
A blind customer hears "button" without knowing what it does. She cannot add the item and abandons the order.
Recommended fix
Give the button a label, for example aria-label="Add to cart", and check that it activates with the Enter key.

This is what a detected problem looks like, on a sample. Your analysis covers your page, with your own results.

Limits of automated checks

This automated analysis identifies some accessibility problems. It is not an exhaustive audit and not a certification of compliance.

On a result, every check carries its own answer: Problem detected · No problem detected by this test · Manual verification needed · Element not tested.

  • Our checks cover ten families of common problems, not the whole of WCAG 2.1 AA.
  • We read the page code as delivered. What appears after scripts run may differ.
  • Keyboard navigation, reading logic and the relevance of alternative text need a human eye.
  • A check with no problem detected is not a validation of the matching criterion, and no automated result certifies legal compliance.

Unsure about a result? Write to eaaudit@nanocorp.app and we check by hand.

Frequently asked questions

Is the analysis really free, and does it cover my whole site?

Free, yes: one page analysed, with no card and no account. On a single page, the one whose address you give. The paid detailed report covers up to ten pages of your buying journey, detected on your site.

Does a good score mean my site is compliant?

No, and we will never write that. The score measures our automated checks. Several criteria can only be verified by hand, and no automated tool certifies legal compliance.

What are WCAG and EN 301 549?

WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) are the international rules for web content accessibility; we test level AA of version 2.1. EN 301 549 is the European standard that builds on them, and which national frameworks such as the French RGAA reference.

Does this concern my company?

It depends on your activity and your size, and not every company has the same obligations. Below 10 employees and €2M turnover or balance sheet, a service provider carries no accessibility obligation. Above those thresholds, in a sector the directive covers (e-commerce, banking, telephony, transport, e-books and others), the obligation applies. If in doubt, have your situation checked by a legal professional.

What are the penalties, and does anyone actually check?

Each Member State sets its own penalties, and they must be effective, proportionate and dissuasive, taking account of the extent of the non-compliance and the number of people affected. Amounts differ by country, so we quote none on this page rather than quote the wrong one; our French pages state the French figure with its official source. On controls: national authorities run them — in France the DGCCRF, with the sector regulators. They can order a business to bring a service into compliance, with a daily penalty and a publicity measure if needed, and consumers can report a failure directly. No official statistic on penalties actually issued is published to date, and we do not invent one.

My site existed before June 2025 — do I get extra time?

Not for a website. The French authority states that a website or mobile app is not a "product" under the directive, so an online shop already in use before 28 June 2025 is outside the deferrals that run to 28 June 2030. Those cover products used to provide a service, contracts concluded before that date, and self-service terminals.

What do you do with the address analysed?

We keep the address and the result to produce your report and to measure our service. We ask for no email for the free analysis.

Do you offer a human audit?

Not today. We sell only what we produce ourselves: the automated analysis and the detailed report. No meetings and no human services are sold here.
